Antonio Brown Allegedly Files For Bankruptcy

Controversial former NFL player, Antonio Brown has reportedly filed for bankruptcy according to a social media post on his CTESPN Network account.

The X account of CTESPN, which is owned by Brown revealed the news with little detail, but it also announced that he will be coming out with new music this summer.

The combative Brown, who launched the property earlier this year has purportedly named what he describes as the “most trusted source in all of sports” after his self-diagnosis of CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy). CTE can only be diagnosed after death.

According to MLive.com, during Brown’s 12 NFL seasons, he made more than $80 million in career earnings, according to Spotrac. After graduating from Central Michigan, the Pittsburgh Steelers picked him in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft. He left the game of football with 928 catches for 12,291 yards while scoring 83 touchdowns.

According to the social media post from CTESPN, he is predicting that he will be a first-ballot NFL Hall of Famer when he is eligible for induction in 2027. After helping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the Super Bowl in 2021, he left the field in dramatic fashion while playing a game against the New York Jets in January 2022. He left the game after taking off his jersey and headed to the locker room bare-chested before the game ended. That was his last NFL game.

During his NFL career, aside from playing with the Steelers and the Buccaneers, he also suited up for the Oakland Raiders, and the New England Patriots.
