He may be dating a Hollywood starlet, but that didn’t stop him from allegedly having a Love Jones with a female staffer.
According to ESPN, Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka may be in line to receive a lengthy suspension as punishment for allegedly having an intimate relationship with a woman who works on the Celtics staff. NBA insider, Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news on his Twitter account earlier today.

Although he is facing punishment from the team, he is not in danger of outright losing his position as head coach of the Eastern Conference champions.
He was allegedly involved in a “consensual intimate” relationship with a woman who works with the Boston Celtics organization. According to the source, this association with the young lady is considered a violation of the guidelines set by the Celtics. There is a possibility, based on internal discussions, that Udoka could miss the entire season due to this relationship.
After replacing the last head coach, Brad Stevens who moved into the executive suite by becoming the Celtics’ president of basketball operations, Udoka became the fifth head coach in the last 25 years to take his team to the NBA Finals in his first season as head coach.
As he awaits the fate of the Boston Celtics’ upper management, based on some Twitter reactions, the punishment that the head coach may be getting pales in comparison to how his home life may become.
Udoka is actress Nia Long‘s long-time boyfriend. The two, although not married, have been dating since 2010 and have a child together. Based on this news, maybe she’ll speak to Tyler Perry about making a sequel to The Single Moms Club?
