Igniting a bold and bright creative chapter, two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum superstar Coi Leray serves up her anxiously awaited new Lemon Cars EP out today via Island Records. Listen HERE.
It stands out as her most dynamic, diverse, and definitive body of work to date joining forces with Ear Drummers [Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B] behind the board to bring the EP to life. Among the many highlights, the flirty “We Time” illuminates her versatility. She seamlessly alternates between head-spinning cadences and breezy melodies. Leray flaunts her high register on the chorus as she admits, “I need we time, take your sweet time. Elsewhere, she lyrically bulldozes the synth-laden beat on “Coke Bottle Body. The energy heightens on the hook as she chants, “Coke bottle body how she shakes like that.” Then, there’s “Poster Girl. Once again, she confidently levels up. Wavy acoustic guitar underscores her captivating vocal performance as she exhales, “Can’t get over her, he just stare all night long.”
