Kanye Reportedly Worth $6.6 Billion
Back in 2019, Forbes published their annual list of the World’s 20 Top-Earning Hip-Hop Stars. Kanye, 43, was ranked number 1.
According to Bloomberg this week, it was determined West is now worth $6.6 billion.
Having just become a billionaire last year, West’s earnings multiplied largely because of his apparel ventures. The collaborative value of his Yeezy sneaker partnership with Adidas and clothing line with the Gap is worth $3.2 billion to $4.7 billion, according to a UBS report published in February.
West’s investment in estranged wife Kim Kardashian’s Skims shapewear line, is among the additional $1.7 billion that he has in other assets.
According to Bloomberg, West’s music catalog is estimated to be worth $110 million. He also has $122 million in cash and stock.
Last June, Gap and West publicized their 10-year partnership. The announcement caused the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper’s stock to spike nearly 19% before plateauing in the ensuing weeks.
There’s more on the horizon for Hip-Hop’s fastest growing billionaire. Last June, Ye filed for a trademark for a Yeezy beauty brand.
