Sekou Writes Contributes ‘HERO Hoodies’ to Support Project Love Strong’s 3rd Annual Hoodies for the Homeless
Author and playwright Sekou Writes models his HERO Hoodies, a “get one give one” project he created to support Project Love Strong’s 3rd annual Hoodies for the Homeless event. For each HERO Hoodie purchased, a second hoodie is donated to the homeless to keep them warm during the winter months. The event, which took place on Saturday 12/12 was a huge success and a number of homeless citizens were gifted with food, supplies, clothes, and more. “If no one else says it, I just want to say thank you,” said one homeless man as he walked away with a brand new HERO Hoodie.
