A Virginia native, She originally began her journey as a federal government employee with the EEOC. She continued on her quest to empower others in a book, “No Pressure, No Diamond” released in 2015.
Davis was called to Dismas Charities Atlanta to serve on the community relations board for a co-ed federal transition agency for individuals returning to society. Amazed by her personal and professional development, Dismas Charities allowed Davis to mentor the women once per week in addition to providing resume development for other residents as well. Davis took it a step further and partnered with Dismas each year to produce a “Stand-Up For Charity” event. An event that gives away coats and toys to residents with children while also providing comedy entertainment and food to the residents and their families. Davis’ first event brought over 5k in monetary donations, an overwhelming amount of toys and coats for the children and has continued to grow ever since.
Stephanie received her start in media as a writer for a national comedy publication. It was then she realized how much she loved to write compelling content that empowered others. That opportunity led her to start her own publication Empower Magazine in 2015. In 2018, she later added to her publishing portfolio with an additional digital publication, Hustle and Soul Magazine.
